SPIDER DAYLILIES

Spider daylilies add style and elegance to a garden, in most cases spiders are the very tall daylilies they are among the tallest daylilies in our daylily nursery. Some red spider daylilies varieties grow very tall and have enormous big long separate petaled flowers. Our spider daylilies for sale have long tall scapes that look lovely when they sway in the wind this makes spider daylilies very eye catching in the garden, and can only happen because of their very tall heights. We have spider daylilies that have long large flower petals, they grow between two and four feet in height they are also heavy bud builders. It is essential that these spider type daylilies get proper care and maintenance even though that spider daylilies are quite distinct, some gardeners saying spiders are their favourite variety. The spider plant is very photophilous especially grown in Queensland's mild weather conditions but in the hot climates of New South Wales and South Australia spider daylilies love some afternoon shade this will stop the daylily leaves burning. Essentially, spider daylily flowers are best known by their petal ratio of 5:1 or higher, some having handsome long twisted petals that curl or curve elegantly. Top spider daylilies are waiting in the wings, pink super spider, spider web and teacup fingers. Spider daylilies can transform a dreary backyard into a promising exterior space. A daylily image cannot capture the sheer beauty and perfume of a spider daylily compared to growing these daylilies in your perennial flower garden. Extended bloom is done by obtaining, early, mid and late flowering varieties in order to have a long flowering display. You can check out our list of spider and unusual form daylilies below that you can buy from us when they become available. We offer Free Postage on orders over $50.
