In Australian gardens, Rudbeckia Herbstsonne is frequently referred to as black-eyed susans or tall coneflowers. When in full bloom, this hardy, long-lived perennial garden plant will be a focal point and require little maintenance. It grows well in a variety of growing environments and is best cultivated in full to partial sun. In the summer and autumn, it creates a stunning display of drooping yellow petals and distinctive, dark elongated central coned blooms. In all other seasons, Rudbeckia Herbstsonne provides a lush green ground cover up to 10 cm even during our frosty winters. It’s a tall, commanding perennial that belongs in any garden.

The only maintenance needed after planting is to clip the flowering stems off when the plant has done blooming for the winter.
Every year, I cover all of my plants with 3 cm of well-rotted manure, which doubles as garden mulch.

My plant will be divided and shipped to you as an established clump so that you can replicate it exactly in your garden as it appears in my photo.
