Iris pallida Argentea Variegata

Iris pallida ‘Argentea Variegata’ is a silver variegated foliaged form of I. pallida. Spring provides fresh leaves with grey-green and creamy-yellow interior margins, gradually turning ivory as the leaves grow longer. Lavender-blue flowers typically appear in late spring with yellow tipped white beards. The semi-evergreen form has narrow and drooping fall flowers with a sweet scent. A great colour contrast for a cottage or perennial garden.
