Aster Orpheus is a medium height easter daisy. You can’t help but stop and stare at the flowers while they’re in full bloom. This easter daisy is a gorgeous shade of rich purple blue with golden stamens that become burgundy with age. This is one of the most stunning coloured asters I’ve ever seen. You are buying a good size clump dug out of my garden.
It is not advisable to fertilise aster plants excessively; I just apply a 2cm layer of rotted manure around the plants once a year.
