Canna Red Stripe has the potential to reach a height exceeding well over two metres when grown in full sun. The prominent characteristic of this giant plant is its large green leaves, which are veined red and edged bright red and have a distinct lime green colouration when the leaves are hidden and are not exposed to direct sunlight. Late in the season, canna red stripe produces seed pods after showing its bright red flowers.
